The last 2 panels are not by Barks; they were inserted by Western to suggest the whole story was only a dream (so-called Caligari effect). Originally, Donald went to prison for arson in the courtroom. According to Barks, the changed ending was drawn either by Carl Buettner or by Tom McKimson.

To fill up the gap, Barks in 1980 sketched 4 new panels for the book »Uncle Scrooge McDuck (His Life & Times)« which appear as the 2nd and 3rd tiers of p. 16 in the reconstructed version.

This story is missing from Barks' vouchers, though he thinks he submitted it in late September 1952.
