Uncle Scrooge began his perpetuation therapy with the two simplest recipes. He drank the natives' strong tea by the mugful, and he ate dried apricots until they almost came out of his ears, but it was soon obvious that he needed nostrums with higher octane ratings. He was rapidly growing more aged and enfeebled. Besides, the strong tea paralyzed his eyelids in an open position - and the apricots turned his skin a rich, lustrous yellow.
