Donald feeds pigeons - and the nephews - with popcorn.

This cover originally had lines indicating the background which were omitted by Western. It is missing from Barks' vouchers, but it could have been submitted on 10 May 1951 or 27 September 1951. It is not clear whether the idea was Barks'.

Donald verbringt die Ferien diesmal dort, wo die Neffen garantiert nichts anstellen können: Er verankert sein Hausboot an einer seichten Stelle mitten im Bodensee/Erpelsee [Lake Erie]. Doch die Neffen bringen es fertig, das Trinkwasser zu verderben, die Benzinvorräte wegzuschütten - und Donald in einer Tonne den Rheinfall/Gumpenfall [Niagara Falls] hinabzubefördern.
